Darcy Willson-Rymer

Managing Director, Starbucks Coffee Company UK & Ireland

Darcy Willson-Rymer joined Starbucks Coffee Company Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as regional vice president in April 2007. In August, 2008 he assumed his current role of managing director, Starbucks UK & Ireland.
Prior to joining Starbucks, Darcy worked at Unilever Ventures for three years. He also brings 19 years of experience in executive roles at Yum! brands.

As managing director, Starbucks UK & Ireland, Darcy is responsible for all Starbucks operations in the UK & Ireland.
At Starbucks Darcy is dedicated to sharing his passion for the highest quality coffee with customers and partners (employees). He is highly commited to ensuring that the company is a good neighbour in the communities where Starbucks has stores, as well as contributing to the communities from which Starbucks coffee is sourced.

Darcy attaches a high value to feedback from partners and customers - recognizing that both are central to the success of the Starbucks business.

His daily routine always includes an early morning visit to a Starbucks store to keep him in tune with the realities of the business and the issues of the day.  Married with two children, his favourite past time is spending time with his family. His favourite Starbucks coffee is Arabian Mocha Sanani.
